Our mission is to work together to build a safe, respective and nurturing environment focused on maximizing each child’s sense of well-being. Our kindergarten aims to provide a meaningful child centred play-based curriculum that builds life skills, independence, confidence and resilience to support each child in achieving their potential and to make a smooth transition to school and society.
Curriculum
The subject taught at Kindergarten will include
- Tamil – To read and write
- English – to read (based on phonetics) and write
- Maths
Along with classroom learning children will be taken to the Montessori lab and the Montessori materials will be used to revisit the concepts taught in the class.
What is a Montessori curriculum?
1) The Montessori education focuses on children’s natural interests and activities.
2) A Montessori classroom places an emphasis on hands on learning and developing real world skills.
3) It paves the way for an overall and holistic development of the child starting from the most basic levels.
4) Special activity room for KG is setup to improve the child’s motor skills.
